Find a Church Directory "Flock Finder"

Flockfinder is free to those trying to find a church. To test it I searched for church in Florence Kentucky, then church Northern Kentucky. To find churches in your area is couple of simple steps.  The graphics are cute but the text that pops up when it doesn’t find a church in the zip code selected is very repetitive. For ease of use it is excellent. Front and center on the home page you just type in your zip code and select a mile radius. Fifteen is the least -- which isn’t good for me.  In a dense suburban area I wouldn’t go more than five miles. There were no Florence churches, no Northern Kentucky churches. Anyway, the fifteen mile radius on my zip code brought up only one church and that was across the river in Ohio. 

Oops. Another site that is attractive and seems well planned -- but can’t produce a church near me.

I tried a few zip codes just to see the quality of information it provides when you do find a church and I was pleasantly surprised. There was a note from the pastor, a short paragraph, photo and link to their website. The information was good. They just need to list more churches -- a lot more. If I was truly looking to find a church this site would have been a waste of time for me.

For churches it’s a pay site. Before I paid to list my church I would want to make sure it was among the sites worth my investment.

I’ll give it a three stars out of five. ***
