Review: Find A Church.com

Many directories online can help you find a church in your area. 

One is even called Find A Church which claims to list over 25,000 churches in the United States and 37,557 churches globally. With the estimated number of churches in the U.S. at 450,000, their site may list 5% or less of the churches in America. The site is attractive and easy to navigate, but since it's a pay site it's content is limited. I typed my zip code and chose the "5 mile" parameter.  My zip code is in a suburban area with maybe a quarter of a million people within 5 miles. The results that came up included only six churches, three Protestant and three Catholic. Though there seem to be fields for churches to enter lots of information the only data on these churches was a website and address. Some didn't even have a website listed. I would guess there might be 200 churches in my area. So, yes, you could find a church that's near you. But, no, you're not going to see a listing of nearly all the churches in your area.  I give it a 3 out of 5 because in the end, search results are much more significant than the aesthetics or ease of use.
